CTRP2 (C1qTNF-related protein 2) belongs to a highly conserved family of adiponectin paralogs. CTRP2 mediates activation of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) in muscle and liver cells, thereby regulating glucose and lipid metabolism.
Sequence:
The globular domain of mouse CTRP2 (aa 151-294) is fused at the N-terminus to a FLAG(R)-tag.
Storage and Stability:
Short-term Storage: +4 degrees C
Long-term Storage: -20 degrees C
Working aliquots are stable for up to 3 months when stored at -20 degrees C.
