Cyclin D2 is a G1 cyclin required for G1-phase progression and is a strong candidate for a proto- oncogene. Cyclin D2 can phosphorylate pRB when associated with cdk4 and/or cdk6. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot, Flow Cytometry and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunoprecipitation: 2ug/mg protein lysate Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: U-2-OS, C82, RD, Bristol-8, LoVo36 cells Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
