Cytokeratin Type II (Biotin)

Cytokeratin Type II constitutes the Type II intermediate filaments (IFs) of the intracytoplasmatic cytoskeleton, which is present in all mammalian epithelial cells. The type 2 cytokeratins consist of basic or neutral, high molecular weight proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic Type I and Type II keratin chains in vivo, coexpressed during differentiation of simple and stratified epithelial tissues.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, Cell sorting and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution: \nImmunohistochemistry (frozen tissue and cytological material): 10-20ug/ml; dilute with PBS, pH 7.4; Incubation Time: 1 hr at RT.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. \n\nBiotin Coupling Ratio: \n5mol Biotin/1mol IgG.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
