Zizimin1, also known as DOCK 9 (dedicator of cytokinesis 9), is involved in intracellular signalling networks by functioning as a guanine nucleotide-exchange factor (GEF). Zizimin1 activates Cdc42, a Rho family GTPase that is involved in cell polarity, gene expression, cell-cycle progression and cell-cell interactions. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: HUVEC cell lysate. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
