Ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 5 (ENPP-5) belongs to a group of nucleotide-metabolizing ecto-enzymes, which regulate the availability of extracellular nucleotides. It may also be involved in neuronal cell communication.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Direct ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:
Direct ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml. The detection limit for recombinant human ENPP-5 is ~1ng/well
Immunoprecipitation: 25ug/ml will immunprecipitate recombinant human ENPP-5 from conditioned cell culture media
Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml. The detection limit for recombinant human ENPP-5 is ~5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Chemiluminescent detection will increase by 5 to 50 fold.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
