Recombinant Human Factor VIII, is a glycosylated polypeptide chain having a total amino acids of 1438 (170kD) and consisting of two dimer chains 80kD and 90kD.\n\nRecombinant protein corresponding to Human Factor VIII expressed in CHO cells.\n\nBiological Activity:\nRecombinant Factor-VIII is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The potency per mg was tested and found to be ~5-10KUnits/mg.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
