CD32 is a receptor for the Fc region of complexed or aggregated immunoglobulins gamma. This is a low affinity receptor. It is Involved in a variety of effector and regulatory functions such as phagocytosis of immune complexes and modulation of antibody production by B cells. Binding to this receptor results in downmodulation of previous state of cell activation triggered via antigen receptors on B cells (BCR), T cells (TCR) or via another Fc receptor.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot (Tissue lysate): 1:500- 1:1000. Detects a band at ~34.04kD using human spleen lysate.
Western Blot (Trasfected lysate): 1:1000- 1:2000. Detects a band at ~34.1kD using FCGR2B transfected 293T lysate.
