HL1, a LIM domain containing protein abundantly expressed by skeletal muscle, which has been linked with several muscular dystrophy-like muscle disorders, including Scapuloperoneal syndrome (SPS), X-linked severe early-onset reducing body myopathy (RBM), and X-linked myopathy with postural muscle atrophy (XMPMA).
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:
ELISA: 1:32,000
Western Blot: 0.05-3ug/ml detects a band of ~30kD in human muscle cell lysates.
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 2-2.5ug/ml requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
