Fis1 (Mitochondrial Fission 1 Protein, Tetratricopeptide Repeat Protein 11, TTC 11)

Fis1 promotes the fragmentation of the mitochondrial network and its perinuclear clustering. It can induce cytochrome c release from mitochondria to the cytosol, ultimately leading to apoptosis. It also mediates peroxisomal fission.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Immunocytochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunocytochemistry (methanol fixation): 1:100\nImmunoprecipitation: 1:200\nWestern Blot: 1:500\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
