Flag (DYKDDDDK) Epitope Tag (Alexa Fluor(R)488)

The DYKDDDDK peptide is a small component of the epitope which does not appear to interfere with the bioactivity or the biodistribution of the recombinant protein. It has been used extensively as a general epitope tag in expression vectors. \n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nFlow Cytometry: 1:50\nImmunofluorescence (IF-IC) 1:200\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degrees C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months at 4 degrees C. Freezing Alexa Fluor(R) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. Alexa Fluor(R) conjugates are sensitive to light.
