Flt3 (D835Y), active, Recombinant, Human (Fms-like Tyrosine Kinase 3, CD135)

N-terminal GST tagged, recombinant human Flt3 aa564-end, containing the mutation D835Y. This mutation is thought to produce a constitutively active form of Flt3 and has been shown to be associated with acute myeloid leukemia. It is expressed by baculovirus in Sf21 insect cells.\n\nSpecific Activity: \n~160U/mg, where one unit of Flt3 (D835Y) activity is defined as 1nmol phosphate incorporated into 50uM Abltide (EAIYAAPFAKKK) per minute at 30 degrees C with a final ATP concentration of 100uM. Abltide is also a substrate for cytosolic Abl kinase.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Flt3 Kinase Assay and MS Tryptic Fingerprint. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions: \nMS Tryptic Fingerprint: Confirmed identity as Flt3 (D835Y) with 50% amino acid coverage of the translated native sequence.\nFlt3 Kinase Assay: 30-84ng phosphorylated 50uM Abltide. Assay background was subtracted from the actual counts to yield the results.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. \n\nStorage and Stability:\nFor long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months.
