TWEAK is a cytokine that controls proliferation, migration, differentiation, apoptosis, angiogenesis and inflammation. TWEAK binds to Fn14, a highly inducible cell-surface receptor that is linked to several intracellular signalling pathways, including the nuclear factor-B (NF-kappaB) pathway. The TWEAK-Fn14 axis plays a beneficial role in tissue repair following acute injury and may contribute to cancer, chronic autoimmune diseases and acute ischaemic stroke. Sequence: The extracellular region of human FN14 (aa 28-75) is fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG1. Storage and Stability: Short-term Storage: +4 degrees C Long-term Storage: -20 degrees C Stable for at least 6 months after receipt when stored at -20 degrees C.
