Forskolin is a naturally occurring diterpene from the Indian plant, Coleus forskohlii, that works as an activator of adenylate cyclase resulting in an increase in the intracellular concentration of cAMP.\n\nSolubility:\nSoluble in DMSO (5mg/ml) or ethanol (6mg/ml).\n\nMelting Point:\n226-229C\n\nElemental Analysis:\nCalculated: C=64.37%, \nH=8.35%\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at RT for short-term only. Long-term storage is recommended at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
