GABARAPL2 is involved in intra-Golgi traffic. It modulates intra-Golgi transport through coupling between NSF activity and SNAREs activation. It first stimulates the ATPase activity of NSF which in turn stimulates the association with GOSR1 (By similarity). Expressed at very low levels in lung, thymus and small intestine. Monomer. Interacts with GABRG2, NSF, GOSR1 and beta-tubulin (By similarity). Interacts with ULK1.\n\nCellular Localization: \nGolgi apparatus (by similarity)\n\nStorage and Stability:\nFor long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -70 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months.
