GADD45G is a member of GADD45 family (GADD45 alpha, beta, and gamma) that are nuclear proteins to interact with various proteins implicated in stress responses and cell-cycle-related proteins. The function of GADD45 proteins is involved in growth-regulatory mechanisms and apoptosis.
