Source:\nRecombinant corresponding to 175aa of human Granulocyte-Colony Stimulating Factor expressed in E.coli is a single,non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain.\n\nMolecular Weight:\n~18.8kD\n\nBiological Activity:\nThe ED50, calculated by the dose-dependent proliferation of mouse NFS-60 indicator cells (measured by 3H-thymidine uptake) is less then 0.1ng/ml, corresponding to a Specific Activity of 1x108 IU/mg.\n\nDimers and Aggregates:\n(same/less than)1% (SDS-PAGE)\n\nProtein Content:\nProtein quantitation was carried out by two independent methods: 1.UV spectroscopy at 280nm using the absorbency value of 0.815 as the extinctioncoefficient for a 0.1% (1mg/ml) solution. This value is calculated by the PC GENEcomputer analysis program of protein sequences (IntelliGenetics). 2. Analysis by RP-HPLC, using a standard solution of Recombinant corresponding to G-CSF as a Reference Standard.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O, HSA or BSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
