ELISA Kit for Antibody IgM to Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) Type II is an in vitro enzyme immunoassay for the detection of Anti-HSV antibodies IgM in human serum or plasma. It is for diagnosis of early infection and epidemic survey.\n\nPrinciple:\nThis kit uses capture ELISA method to detect anti- HSV antibodies IgM in serum or plasma. The mouse anti-human IgM (mu chain) antibody is coated on the multi-wells plate. The HRP conjugated recombinant HSV antigen serves as tracer. TMB is substrate for HRP. The enzyme reaction with substrate TMB produces a color change, and the intensity of the absorbance at 450 nm indicates the presence or absence of Anti-HSV antibodies IgM in the sample. The test is specific, sensitive, reproducible and easy to operate. It is for blood screen of HSV infection.\n\nKit Components:\n1. Antibody Coated Microwell Plate, 1x96 wells\n2. Enzyme Conjugant\n3. Negative Control Serum\n4. Positive Control Serum\n5. Concentrated Wash Buffer (20X)\n6. Substrate A\n7. Substrate B\n8. Stop Solution\n\nStorage and Stability:\nStore components at 4 degrees C. Stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
