Histone H3, phosphorylated (Ser28)

The phosphorylation of histone H3 plays an important role in gene expression, chromatin remodeling, and chromosome condensation, and cell division. Histone H3 phosphorylation may initiate at different phases of the cell division in different organisms, but metaphase chromosomes are always found to be heavily phosphorylated. H3 phosphorylation at serine 28 is coupled with mitotic chromosome condensation in diverse mammalian cell lines.\n\nPositive Control: anti-Fas mAb treated Jurkat\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
