HIV-1 nef, Recombinant, aa3-190, 20kD (Human Immunodeficiency Virus-1)

The E. coli derived 20kD recombinant protein is a non-glycosylated polypeptide chain, containing the HIV-1 p24 gag immunodominant regions, aa3-190. Recombinant HIV nef is fused to beta-galactosidase (114kD). \n\nSpecificity:\nRecognizes all sera of HIV-I infected individuals.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for us in ELISA, Western Blot and an excellent antigen for early detection of HIV seroconvertors with minimal specificity problems. Other applications not tested.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nFor long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
