HIV-1 vif, Strain HXB2, Recombinant (Human Immunodeficiency Virus-1)

Full length Recombinant HIV-1 HXB2 vif produced as a 6xHis-fusion protein in E. coli. \n\nSpecificity: \nThis protein shows reactivity with murine monoclonal antibodies and HIV-1 converted human serum polyclonal antibodies in ELISA and Western ELISA. \n\nBiological Activity: \nVif dependent HIV-1 virus production in HIV-1 infected SupT1, Jurkat and CEM cells. \n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot, Drug screening and Immunological studies. Other applications have not been tested. \n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nELISA: 1-10ng. \nWestern Blot: 1-10ng. \nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
