HLA Class 1 Antigen B7 (PE)

The major histocompatibility complex (MHC) is a cluster of genes that are important in the immune response to infections. In humans, this complex is referred to as the human leukocyte antigen (HLA) region. There are 3 major MHC class I proteins encoded by the HLA which are HLA A, HLA B and HLA C. The HLA B gene is part of the human HLA complex on chromosome 6 and there are a large number of variant alleles of this gene. \n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nFlow Cytometry: Neat. Use 10ul to label 1x10e6 cells or 100ul whole blood.\nOptimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher.\n\nRecommended Negative Controls:\nI1904-79D: IgG1 Murine Negative Control (PE)\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degrees C. Reconstitute by adding sterile ddH2O. Aliquot and store at 4 degrees C. DO NOT FREEZE! Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recognizes human HLA-B7 antigen. Does not crossreact with HLA-B27 or other related HLA antigens. Clone 3H2215 can be used to distinguish true HLA-B27 positives from HLA-B27 false positives (ie HLA-B7 positive) in the investigation of such diseases as ankylosing spondylitis and anterior uveitis. Species Crossreactivity: Cynomolgus monkey.
