IL-37 (IL-1F7) belongs to the IL-1 family. It binds to interleukin-18 receptor (IL-18R) but not to IL-1 receptor. It was shown to play an important role as a link between innate and adaptive immunity and it is suggested as a new player in the inflammatory and immune responses mediated by the IL-18/IL-18R axis. It was also shown to inhibit tumor growth. Sequence: Human IL-37 (aa 1-218) is fused at the C-terminus to a His-tag. Storage and Stability: Short-term Storage: +4 degrees C Long-term Storage: -20 degrees C Working aliquots are stable for up to 3 months when stored at -20 degrees C.
