Neurofilament 200kD (200kD Neurofilament Protein, KIAA0845, Neurofilament Heavy Polypeptide, NEFH, NFH, NF-H, Neurofilament Triplet H Protein)

Neurofilaments make up the main structural elements of axons and dendrites and are found in neurons, peripheral nerves, and sympathetic ganglian cells. Neurofilaments consist of three major subunits with molecular weights of 68kD, 160kD and 200kD. This antibody will help detect the neurofilament 200kD subunit in normal and uncharacterized tissues.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry (Brain): 1:50-1:400 \nImmunohistochemistry (Extracranial tumors): 1:25-1:50 for 1 hr at RT\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control: \nBrain (cytoplasmic staining of neuronal axons)\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
