Additional info: | p65 is a transcription factor belonging to the NF-kB family with the N-terminal Rel homology domain of the NF-kB family, a C-terminal transcription activation domain and a nuclear receptor interaction motif (LXXLL). p65 is a part of the NF-kB (p50/p65) heterodimer. IkB interacts with NF-kB dimers and inactivates their transcriptional potential by trapping them in the cytoplasm through stable complex formation. It is ubiquitously expressed in most tissues. |
