PARK8 (LRRK2) (LRRK2, PARK8, Leucine-rich repeat serine/threonine-protein kinase 2, Dardarin) (APC)

This gene is a member of the leucine-rich repeat kinase family and encodes a protein with an ankryin repeat region, a leucine-rich repeat (LRR) domain, a kinase domain, a DFG-like motif, a RAS domain, a GTPase domain, a MLK-like domain, and a WD40 domain. The protein is present largely in the cytoplasm but also associates with the mitochondrial outer membrane. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Parkinson disease-8.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:1,000\nWestern Blot: 1:100~500\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C with glycerol. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Do not freeze APC conjugates. Light sensitive.
