Prostaglandin Dehydrogenase 1 (PGDH1, 15-Hydroxyprostaglandin Dehydrogenase [NAD+], Hydroxyprostaglandin Dehydrogenase 15-(NAD), HPGD, 15-PGDH, PGDH)

15-Hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase (15-PGDH) is a novel tumor suppressor in the COX-2 pathway. The protein is found in many normal tissues and appears to be down-regulated in colorectal and lung carcinoma tissue.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry (paraffin-embedded sections). Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: bands may be seen at 29kD and 58kD.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nCellular Localization: Cytoplasmic\n\nPositive Control: Treated A549 lung carcinoma cell lysates (see note) and LoVo colon carcinoma cell lysates.\n\nStorage and Stability:\n\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
