Semaphorin 3E (Semaphorin-3E, SEMA3E, KIAA0331, SEMAH)

Semaphorin 3E (previously SemaH) is a secreted protein belonging to the semaphorin family. Semaphorin 3E is highly expressed by a subset of motor neurons in developing somites, where it acts as a repulsive cue for PlexinD1-expressing endothelial cells of adjacent intersomitic vessels. Like other Semaphorin 3 proteins, the 775aa human Semaphorin 3E contains a signal sequence, a Semaphorin domain, a C2-like Ig domain and a C-terminal basic domain. Disulfide-linked dimerization and furin-type proteolytic processing increase Semaphorin 3E bioactivity. Mature human and mouse Semaphorin 3E share 90% aa identity.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:128,000\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
