Endophilin-A2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SH3GL1 gene (3, 4). Endophilin-A2 is an SH3 domaincontaining protein that is involved in the clathrin-mediated endocytosis and recycling of synaptic vesicles (5. Its SH3 domain lies at the C-terminus of the protein, and can bind proline-rich sequences on other endocytotic proteins (6). It also binds the C-terminus of the voltage-gated calcium channel in a calcium-dependent manner, which serves to enrich the endocytotic machinery at nerve termincals (7).\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunofluorescence: 1-10ug/ml\nWestern Blot: 1ug/ml\nImmunohistochemistry: 0.1-1ug/ml\nImmunocytochemistry: 0.1-1ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
