Small Cell Lung Carcinoma, Neural And Endocrine Antigen

This antibody is reactive with lung cancer associated antigens and has been studied and categorized in different clusters of reactivity patterns during the First International Workshop on Small Cell Lung Cancer Antigens held in London in April 1987. MOC-552 stain neural and a variable number of endocrine tissues and in the lung if reacts preferentially with SCLC and carcinoids. Also a limited number of non-SCLC cases react with this antibody. These non-SCLC cases which express neural/endocrine epitopes might form a separate subgroup. The membrane-associated proteins the MOC-21, MOC-32 and MOC-52 (= Cluster I antibodies) antibodies have apparent molecular weights of about 145kD. \n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:10\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
