Transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) family of proteins has potent hematopoietic regulatory properties ranging from effects on the growth and differentiation of primitive stem cells to the differentiated functions of mature cells.
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, and Western Blot. Not recomended for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 10-50ug/ml
Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml; the detection limit is ~5ng of recombinant human TGF-beta 1,2 and 3 or recombinant amphibian TGF-beta 5 under non-reducing conditions. Reducing conditions are not recommended.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
