TL1A (TNF Ligand-related Molecule 1, TL1, MGC129934, MGC129935, Tumor Necrosis Factor Ligand Superfamily Member 15, TNFSF15, Vascular Endothelial Cell Growth Inhibitor, VEGI, VEGI192A)

TNF Superfamily Ligand TL1A (TL1A, TNFSF15) is abundantly expressed in endothelial cells, but is not expressed in either B or T cells. TL1A also binds decoy receptor DcR3/TR6, which is expressed in several lung and colon carcinomas and in some normal tissues. TL1A induces apoptosis and NF-kB activation in DR3 expressing cells, which is antagonized by DcR3. TL1A is upregulated by proinflammatory cytokines TNF and IL-1. TL1A is a longer variant of TL1 (also called VEGI).\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5ug/ml\nImmunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:200-1:1000\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
