TMEM184B, also known as C22orf5, is a 407aa multi-pass membrane protein and represents a novel gene in the activation of the MAPK signaling pathway. The gene encoding TMEM184B maps to human chromosome 22; mutations in several of the genes in chromosome 22 are involved in the development of autism, schizophrenia, Phelan-McDermid syndrome and Neurofibromatosis type 2, suggesting that TMEM184B may play a role in these syndromes.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 1-2ug/ml\nImmunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control:\nRat Lung Tissue Lysate\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
