Trpv2 is an 86kD, non selective calcium channel. It is involved in the transduction of high-temperature heat responses in neurons. Trpv2 is activated by temperatures above 52 degrees C and is thought to be partly regulated by IGF-I, platelet derived growth factor and neuropeptide head activator. Trpv2 is expressed in skin, tongue, dorsal root ganglion, trigeminal ganglion, spinal cord and brain.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (paraffin). Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry (paraffin): 10ug/ml\nRequires antigen retrieval using heat treatment for 20 minutes prior to staining of paraffin sections. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
