VRL-1 is ubiquitously expressed. Expressed in dorsal root ganglia, trigeminal ganglia, spinal chord (Lissauer's tract, dorsal horn and dorsal columns) (at protein level). PTM: N-glycosylated. PTM: Phosphorylated by PKA. \n\nSimilarity: Belongs to the transient receptor family. TrpV subfamily. Contains 3 ANK repeats.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. \n\nRecommended Dilutions: \nImmunohistochemistry: 0.5-1ug on free-floating or paraffin embedded sections\nWestern Blot: 0.5-1ug \nImmunofluorescence: 0.5-1ug \nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. \n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
