Acetylcholine receptor subunit alpha (CHRNA1)

Cat no: 144117

Acetylcholine receptor subunit alpha (CHRNA1)

CHRNA, also termed ACHRA, is mapped on 2q24-q32.This gene encodes the alpha subunit of the muscle acetylcholine receptor, which is the main target of pathogenic autoantibodies in autoimmune myasthenia gravis. The protein-coding sequence of the human alpha subu gene is divided into 9 exons that correspond to different structural and functional domains of the precursor molecule.\n\nUniProt Number:\nP02708\n\nGene ID:\nCHRNA1\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin).\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Handling:\nStore at -20?C for one year. After reconstitution, store at 4?C for one month. Can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at -20?C for long term.\nAvoid repeated freezing and thawing. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
