ADRB3 is a transmembrane protein and member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family primarily expressed by adipose tissue, which acts as a regulator of lipolysis and heat production. The ADRB3 variant Arg-64 has been identified as a possible candidate gene linked with obesity, and to an increased susceptibility to non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM).

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:128,000
Western Blot: 0.03-0.1ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Recommended Secondary Antibodies:
I1904-28V IgG, Fc (HRP) Pab RbxGt
Recommended Useful Reagents:
HUMAN BRAIN TOTAL PROTEIN LYSATE
HUMAN CEREBELLUM, LEFT TOTAL PROTEIN LYSATE

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
