Autophagy is a process of bulk protein degradation in which cytoplasmic components, including organelles, are enclosed in double-membrane structures called autophagosomes and delivered to lysosomes or vacuoles for degradation. ATG12 is the human homolog of a yeast protein involved in autophagy (Mizushima et al., 1998 [PubMed 9852036]).\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, ELISA.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA : 1:10000\nWestern Blot: 1:200~2000\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:50~200\nImmunofluorescenc: 1:10~50\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
