Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), which is synthesized during development in the fetal gut, is re-expressed in increased amounts in intestinal carcinomas and several other tumors. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Pair: Capture: C1299-87W Detection: C1299-87O Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
