CCL13 (C-C Motif Chemokine 13, CK-beta-10, Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein 4, Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 4, MCP-4, NCC-1, Small-inducible Cytokine A13, MCP4, NCC1, SCYA13, MGC17134)

CCL13 is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is also known as thymus and activation regulated chemokine (TARC). This protein induces chemotaxis in monocytes, eosinophils, T lymphocytes, and basophils by binding cell surface G-protein linked chemokine receptors such as CCR2, CCR3 and CCR5. It can be induced by the inflammatory cytokines interleukin-1 and TNF-a.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Neutralization. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: To detect hMCP-4 by sandwich ELISA (using 100ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human MCP-4 as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant hMCP-4.\nWestern Blot: To detect hMCP-4 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hMCP-4 is 3-4ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.\nNeutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition of the biological activity of hMCP-4 (30ng/ml), a concentration of 1-1.5ug/ml of this antibody is required.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
