CCL15 (C-C Motif Chemokine 15, Chemokine CC-2, HCC-2, Leukotactin-1, LKN-1, MIP-1 delta, Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 5, MIP-5, Mrp-2b, NCC-3, Small-inducible Cytokine A15, MIP5, NCC3, SCYA15)

Chemotactic factor that attracts T-cells and monocytes, but not neutrophils, eosinophils, or B-cells. Acts mainly via CC chemokine receptor CCR1. Also binds to CCR3. CCL15(22-92), CCL15(25-92) and CCL15(29-92) are more potent chemoattractants than the small-inducible cytokine A15.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Neutralization. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: To detect hMIP-5 by sandwich ELISA (using 100ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human MIP-5 as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant hMIP-5.\nWestern Blot: To detect hMIP-5 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hMIP-5 is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.\nImmunohistochemistry: This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of human colon/rectum adenocarcinoma. The recommended concentration is 0.5mg/ml with an overnight incubation at 4 degrees C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 6.0 sodium citrate buffer is recommended. \nNeutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition of the biological activity of hMIP-5 (50ng/ml), a concentration of 1.75-3ug/ml of this antibody is required.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
