The gene for CCL19 is one of several CC cytokine genes clustered on the p-arm of chromosome 9. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. CCL19 may play a role in normal lymphocyte recirculation and homing. It also plays an important role in trafficking of T cells in thymus, and in T cell and B cell migration to secondary lymphoid organs. It specifically binds to chemokine receptor CCR7.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100ul/well), a concentration of 2-4ug/ml of this antibody will detect recombinant human MIP-3beta when used with biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human MIP-3beta as the detection antibody at a concentration of ~0.5-1ug/ml.\nWestern Blot: To detect human MIP-3beta by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 1-2ug/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant human MIP-3beta is 2-4ng/lane, under reducing conditions.\nImmunohistochemistry: This antibody stained PBMC. The primary antibody was incubated at 5mg/ml for one hour at room temperature followed by a fluorescent labeled secondary antibody.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
