Applications: Suitable for use in Flow cytometry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow cytometry: 1:50-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Hybridization of rat Y3 myeloma cells with spleen cells from immunized rats. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Additional info: Recognizes the human CD195 cell surface antigen, a 45kD glycoprotein also known as CCR5. CD195 acts as a receptor for a number of chemokines including RANTES and eotaxin and also serves as a co-receptor for the entry of HIV into cells. CD195 is expressed by a subset of T lymphocytes and by monocytes.
