CD10 (CALLA, Common Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia Antigen, Neprilysin, NEP, Neutral Endopeptidase 24.11, EC3.4.24.11)

CD10 (CALLA, Common Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia Antigen, Neprilysin, NEP, Neutral Endopeptidase 24.11, EC3.4.24.11) is a single chain 100kD glycoprotein. It is a cell surface enzyme with neutral metalloendopeptidase activity which inactivates a variety of biologically active peptides. CD10 is expressed on the cells of lymphoblastic, BurkittпїЅs, and follicular germinal center lymphomas, and on cells from patients with chronic myelocytic leukemia (CML). It is also expressed on the surface of normal early lymphoid progenitor cells, immature B cells within adult bone marrow and germinal center B cells within lymphoid tissue. CD10 is also present on breast myoepithelial cells, bile canaliculi, fibroblasts, with especially high expression on the brush border of kidney and gut epithelial cells. \nAntigen Distribution: Granulocytes > 95%; cALL > 95%; Peripheral blood lymphocytes < 1%; T cells (lg+) < 1%; B cells (lg-) < 1%; Monocytes < 1%; Thymocytes < 1%; NK cells (CD16+) < 1%.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry: Acetone-fixed frozen\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control:\nTonsil or small intestine\n\nStorage and Stability\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
