The recognised antigen is a heterodimer (160 and 95kD) belonging to the family of adhesion molecules CD11b/CD18, also designated as Mac-1 antigen or CR3. Has been shown to induce homotypic aggregation of granulocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: frozen sections. Not suitable for use in paraffin sections. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
