CLASPs, such as CLASP1, are nonmotor microtubule-associated proteins that interact with CLIPs (e.g., CLIP170; MIM 179838). CLASP1 is involved in the regulation of microtubule dynamics at the kinetochore and throughout the spindle.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:1,000
Immunofluorescence: 1:100
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4 degrees C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
