Plays a major role in tight junction-specific obliteration of the intercellular space, through calcium-independent cell-adhesion activity. Acts as a co-receptor for HCV entry into hepatic cells.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot.
