DcTRAIL-R1 (Decoy TRAIL Receptor 1, TNFRH1, mSOB)

DcTRAIL R1, also known as TNFRH1 and mSOB, is a GPI-anchored TNF receptor superfamily member that lacks a cytoplasmic death domain and does not induce apoptosis. No known human homolog of mouse DcTRAIL R1 is known.\n\nHybridoma: \nProduced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a rat immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant mouse Decoy TRAIL Receptor 1 (rmDcTRAIL R1).\n\nApplications: \nWestern Blot: This antibody can be used at 1-2ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse DcTRAIL R1. Using a colorimetric detection system, the detection limit for rmDcTRAIL R1 is approximately 25 ng/lane under non-reducing conditions. Use of this antibody under reducing conditions is not recommended. Chemiluminescent detection will increase sensitivity by 5 to 50 fold. \nImmunohistochemistry: A biotin conjugate of this antibody was used at a concentration of 25ug/ml with appropriate secondary reagents to detect DcTRAIL R1 in frozen mouse thymus tissue sections. \nDirect ELISA: This antibody can be used at 0.5-1.0ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse DcTRAIL R1. The detection limit for rmDcTRAIL R1 is approximately 2 ng/well. \nOptimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile PBS with 40-50% glycerol and store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
