DNAse II is an enzyme involved in both the condensation of chromatin and the fragmentation of DNA. DNase II is ubiquitously expressed in human tissues. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 5ug/ml. Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining paraffin sections. Sodium citrate, pH 6.0 is recommended. Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml. Decects a band of ~40kD in human tissue spleen cell lysate. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
