DRD5, a Dopamine Receptor, mediates the effects of dopamine on neurons. DRD5 has been reported to be expressed in various regions of the brain, as well as in artery, eye, ganglion, kidney, small intestine, spleen, stomach and thymus. ESTs have been isolated from Human normal brain and eye libraries and from a colon carcinoma library.

Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 3.4ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Rat brain, purkinje neurons
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
