FHL1 (Four and a Half LIM Domains 1, KYO T, LIM Protein SLIMMER, RAM14-1, RBP Associated Molecule 14-1, Skeletal Muscle LIM Protein 1 SLIM, SLIM1)

LIM proteins, named for 'LIN11, ISL1 and MEC3' are defined by the possession of a highly conserved double zinc finger motif called the LIM domain. FHL1 may have an involvement in muscle development or hypertrophy. Isoform 2 binds to RBP J and plays a negative regulatory role in the RBP J mediated transcription in mammalian systems.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
